AN attempt to strangle was allegedly part of an assault when siblings fought over cash and a car was taken in Plain Street about 12.30pm on September 26.
“The victim and the offender were adult brothers,” Sgt Brennan said.
Sgt Brennan said it would be alleged the strangling occurred when the victim was attempting to escape in a red Mitsubishi Lancer, which was reported stolen but later recovered.
