The feel of this riff is 12/8 time that has a triplet lilt, which is counted ‘1-&-a-2-&-a-3-&-a-4-&-a’. There is a combination of techniques starting with a chord progression embellished with slides and ringing open strings. Next we have some natural harmonics played at the 5th fret followed by a melody played with bends; you can add an octave above here if you have the required pedal.
