The late, great Gary Moore was synonymous with high-octane blues playing, but he was also a rock guitarist of the highest order. His 1990 album Still Got The Blues is regarded by many aficionados as the one to get and it features many fiery examples of hightempo blues that combine the minor Blues scale with Mixolydian. For his rockier side try Wild Frontier (1987) or After The War (1988).
