Here is where wearing the slide on the second finger really shows its advantage over third or fourth finger; extreme angling to play minor 3rd double-stops on the third and second strings. If you’ve not tried this before, it can be surprising how much angle is required to get both notes in tune. Much easier with the slide on the second finger, but almost impossible if on the third or fourth finger.
