Joyful Noise and Already Free are a great starting point to Trucks’ large and impressive back catalogue. But 2016’s Let Me Get By by Tedeschi Trucks is a masterpiece - Susan’s voice is incredible, redolent of the wonderful Bonnie Raitt. She’s also a fine player. As with The Allmans, live albums such as Live From The Fox Oakland (2017) capture just what an amazing live performer Derek Trucks is.
