Get the Tone

Trucks is famously associated with Gibson SGs and has his own signature version. His setup is relatively simple with Fender blackface amplifiers and a ‘medicine bottle’ slide. Trucks rolls off his volume knob to switch between cleaner and overdriven sounds. Go for a natural overdrive tone with a bit of compression if you have it. Add light reverb or delay to taste.
