At bar 25 we have an absolutely gorgeous descending sequence which continues bar by bar up to bar 32. Each bar has an expressive accented passing note on beat 2 so this note can be emphasised slightly to bring out its poignancy. At bar 33 we have a four-bar phrase that repeats at bar 37.

Try varying the tone for each four bars: first play tasto, meaning pluck close to the fretboard for a warm tone, and next play ponticello (pont) meaning play closer to the bridge for a brighter tone. It’s good to explore the colour palette of the instrument this way.
