The phrase that spans bars 1-2 is mimicked rhythmically, but the notes are adapted to fit the chord change. In bar 5, a new idea appears – a simple four-note motif. This motif is repeated and adapted slightly to accommodate the changes. To provide a contrast, I play a bluesy line to finish.
