TECHNIQUE FOCUS
Relax, relax, relax
The music of Bach is universally notorious for containing some of the most technically enduring musical passages a musician will ever play on their instrument. The Allemande might not be the most advanced piece of Bach’s to play but it is still easy to burn out before reaching the end if you’re not careful. Tension in the fretting hand can quickly become a problem unless a continued effort is made to tread lightly and to use any open chord moments to completely empty all tension out of the hand so as to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable finish.
