Celestion Greenback G12M £89 It’s Celestion’s best-known speaker and still going strong.Today’s M version of the fabled Greenback comes in the wellestablished 25 watts power rating – and can even be bought in virtual form as an Impulse Response for use with DAWor amp modelling hardware.

Celestion Heritage Series G12M-67c .£119 As mentioned in the feature,the earliest Greenbacks had a power rating of just 20 watts and this Heritage version is Celestion’s reissue of that first-of-thebreed model – for devotees of classic 60s rock tones.

Celestion G12M-65 Creamback £99 The higher-powered Creambacks should offer extra clarity and volume over any of the Greenbacks but retain their vintage character. We’ ve used them inVictory’s excellent 2x12 cabinets and they sound great: pliant yet punchy.
