tutor: Phil hilborne Gear used: Prs ‘signature’ custom 24 Guitar into a Marshall JMP-1 with its emulated outs plugged straight into the mixing desk. additional distortion/character via an Xotic eP Booster pedal; an MXr eVh Phase 90 on a very subtle setting was kicked in for the tapping sections. additional reverb added using logic plug-ins in the mix (it’s worth mentioning that in the mix I panned the dry guitar to the left and the guitar’s ‘plate reverb’ return fully to the right; this is pretty much what producer ted templeman did on all the early Van halen albums)
