I use a fairly big pedalboard based around a Gig Rig G2 switching unit. I love the way it lets me engage and disengage groups of pedals at the touch of a single footswitch, but I’ve noticed that when I include a digital delay (last in the signal chain, as currently set up) to my overdrive sounds it brightens up the tone to the point where my lovely, carefully dialled in drive tones sound a bit harsh. I think this is probably a buffering issue, but how do I solve it so I can use delay in groups with my favourite drive pedals without altering the tone of the latter, mid-song?
