One of the most compelling pro-grade effects makers to hit the scene in recent years, Walrus Audio has consistently impressed with the stellar sonics of its pedals – and its creatively inspiring features. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the good folk at Walrus to offer Guitarist readers the chance to win three of the company’s finest creations, with a collective value of £537. The Slö Multi Texture Reverb, which won a Choice award from reviewer Trevor Curwen a few issues back, offers three core reverb algorithms that can be modulated into an infinite variety of atmospheric soundscapes. The Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo V2, meanwhile, is the updated version of Walrus’s superb tremolo effect, offering evocative tremolo sounds in five wave shapes in both standard and harmonic trem. The latter has some of the qualities of an analogue chorus or Uni-Vibe offering

up a rich, rippling range of sounds. Finally, the Kangra Filter Fuzz is Walrus’s newest creation and offers hodsfull of scuzzy, lo-fi sounds inspired by the 60s Kay Fuzz Tone effect, though with a host of evolved features including mid-boost and vintage or modern voicing options, plus synth-like filtered tones.
