Think of a single-pickup, flat-top single-cut and your mind might not instantly head towards purveyors of modern metal LTD. But single-pickup guitars are looking like a trend for 2024 and LTD is jumping straight in with its EC-01FT (top, £1,109) and EC-201FT (£499) models. They both follow a similar design, with mahogany bodies, thin U-shaped necks and a single humbucker. Upgrades on the EC-01FT include a set-through neck, ebony fingerboard and exclusive Seymour Duncan Custom 14 humbucker; both guitars feature coil-splits via the lone master volume control. Each model comes in Black, with Olympic White and Vintage Burst (EC-01FT) and See Thru Black Cherry (EC-201FT) options.
