Fruit from Katnook Estate. Destemmed/crushed and open fermented. Matured for 17 months in 77% new French oak, the final wine a barrel selection. The first sniff takes you to Coonawarra straight away with it’s distinctive choc-mint character, cedary oak providing a backdrop. It’s quite plush on the palate for this vintage, but structured and long. Will age well. 13.5% alc.
