Typical Deep Woods abundance of flavours from a broad tropical pasture with passionfruit, custard apple and a French dressing of citrus. The price is downright embarrassing, but it’s Margaret River’s monopoly of the blend. JH 12.5% alc.

What makes this wine ideal for right now?

It’s one of the greatest wine blends from one of Australia’s greatest wine regions. If this doesn’t represent a massively accessible vinous bargain, I’m not sure what does. Fresh and crisp, it’s a perfect aperitive and the most wonderful accompaniment to a seafood barbecue that you could hope for. I personally love a frosty glass of Ivory at the beach watching the kiddies. It screams summer to me.
