2019 MANDOON ESTATE OLD VINE GRENACHE

If you don’t get excited by the prospect of Swan Valley grenache, we need to talk. In the hands of winemaker Ryan Sudano, this is possessed of both supple, bouncy raspberry fruit, and muscular, structuring tannins. The wine in the mouth is frankly delicious, and wears its alcohol with ease. On reflection, there is a jasmine tea note on the palate that is very attractive, too. Likely a long life ahead of it.
