Hewn of old-vine fruit from the Constable and Tinkler’s vineyards in Pokolbin. This is very good, reflecting an outstanding vintage marked by a confluence of fleshy fruit and lightweight precision. Riffs on lemon squash, icy pole, Granny Smith apple and aniseed, verging on pastis. The acidity, juicy rather than brittle. The finish long and effortless. Delicious wine. NG 11.3% alc.
