2019 EVANS & TATE REDBROOK RESERVE CHARDONNAY, MARGARET RIVER

Fermented and matured 10 months in French oak (18% new), followed by a further 8 months on lees in tank, prior to a year in bottle. Fresh and powerful, with a distinct linearity, thanks to the cool 2019 vintage. This is so taut and coiled right now as to be almost closed. It won’t remain that way forever, but in the meantime, a decant is advised. EL 13% alc.

The handful of extraordinary fruit we grow to make this wine is gently handled using methods exclusive to Evans & Tate. This, in turn, makes a wine in a style not seen from any other producer in the region and has resulted in Evans & Tate becoming particularly renowned for the youthfulness and vibrancy of our chardonnay wines.
