Really full bodied and intense shiraz here. Layer after layer of black fruit, licorice spice and star anise, pouring through the mouth in rivulets of flavour. The tannins are fine and shapely, contributing to the rolling mouthfeel. Quite gorgeous, all things in balance. EL 14.5% alc.
Tell us something interesting about this wine? Superb fruit was sourced from a single site with terra rossa soils over limestone. Crafted from a selection of outstanding barrels that had alluring aromatics, multi layers of flavour and complexity gained from 20 months ageing with 10 superior coopers.
