What can you tell us about your two cellar doors?
Both locations are in very different settings. Our main cellar door is on the company thoroughbred horse stud, which is incredibly picturesque and home to many Group 1 winners. We even offer stud tours, a wagyu lunch and wine tasting packages. Then we have our newly opened Gooree Cellar + Pantry, right in the heart of Mudgee – within a block from the clock, which is a major landmark in the Mudgee township. This venue provides a fabulous setting for a wine tasting close to town, and we cater for private tasting groups and sell our own wagyu meat that is produced on our pastoral property also in Mudgee. Our vineyards are situated between Mudgee and Gulgong, and provide consistent quality grapes that are receiving accolades and awards wherever we go. It is certainly an exciting time for our expanding business.
