What do you love most about your region? The Clare Valley is full of surprises, with picture-perfect scenery around every corner, a lively food and arts scene, and charming villages like Sevenhill, Mintaro and Watervale, just waiting to be explored. We highly recommend an outing on the Riesling Trail. A former railway line, it is one of the most tangible ways to soak up the beautiful surroundings.
What should we make time for at your cellar door this summer? Sevenhill Cellars is the Clare Valley’s first winery, established by Jesuits in 1851. Thousands of visitors immerse themselves in the property’s heritage and spirituality every year, exploring our historic winery or taking a walking tour of the vineyards and surrounding sacred sites. A picnic on our extensive lawns is also popular, particularly for Riesling Trail bike riders needing a pit-stop.
