2016 Polperro Talland Hill Single Vineyard Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay

Hand-picked in two passes, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented in French oak, matured on gross lees for 12 months in barrel, then on fine lees in tank for a further 6 months. Complex and powerful, this is definitely a red wine drinker’s style. That said, its balance is exemplary, reflecting the way all the flavour components sing from the same page, creamy and rich. 13.6% alc.
