Hand-picked, cold-pressed, 70% fermented in tank with weekly lees stirring, 30% fermented in French hogsheads (30% new). A tribute to the vineyard and the quality of the grapes. The fact there’s not much oak influence in the wine simply serves to reveal its other strength: perfectly ripened (13% is a magic number) fruit of considerable length. 13% alc.
