2017 Mewstone Pinot Noir

Estate-grown, hand-picked, wild-fermented with 15% whole bunches, matured in French oak, not fined. Still in its infancy, but loaded with potential. Super-intense red cherry, satsuma plum, spice and forest floor notes all jostle for front position and continue the argument until the last gasp of the aftertaste, oak endeavouring to smooth the passage. 13.5% alc.
