2017 Sidewood Estate Adelaide Hills Tempranillo Rosé
Hand-picked, chilled for 24 hours, destemmed and crushed, 3 hours skin contact, the freerun juice pressed to used French oak for wild fermentation and 8 months maturation on lees. Pale, bright magenta; the fragrant, expressive bouquet puts you on notice that this isn’t your average rosé. It is vibrant and crisp, with wild strawberry, crunchy apple skin and cranberries. The palate is dry – very dry – but has excellent texture, mouthfeel and length. 12% alc.
