2016 Stefano Lubiana la Roccia Single Block Pinot Noir

The la Roccia Block is 1.5ha, planted to clones 115 and 667. Steve Lubiana says the wines have the most masculinity, structure and tannin, requiring longer ageing in balance, leaving me with nothing to say except I agree, and mumble that the wine is in balance now. It’s all about dark fruits, cherry to the fore, with sinuous tannins and intimidating length. 13.5% alc.
