2016 Polperro Landaviddy Lane Single Vineyard Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

The Landaviddy Lane Vineyard was planted to MV6 in ’92, hand-picked, destemmed, wild yeast open-fermented, hand-plunged for 15 days, 15 days on skins post-ferment, matured in French oak (30% new) for 16 months. The bouquet is fragrant and pure, singing of red fruits of all kinds, the light-bodied palate skipping precisely in the footprints of the bouquet. At first sight it is a little too light on, but if you tease out its heart, there’s a great deal to be enjoyed. 13.6% alc.
