2013 Tim Adams Schaefer Clare Valley Shiraz

The Adams family purchased grapes from this vineyard (planted in ’98) for several years before purchasing it in ’15. This wine spent 24 months in new French oak, and is built for the long haul. The plum and cherry fruit has its own backbone, and oak adds a further dimension. Patience is needed, and will be rewarded. 14.5% alc.
