2018 Lucy Margaux Vin de Soif Adelaide Hills Gamay Rosé, South Australia, $35

-

Anton from Lucy Margaux is known for making wild and funky wines, but this is bright, juicy and crunchy – and dangerously easy to drink.

62. 2016 Mac Forbes Hugh Yarra Valley Cabernet Blend, Victoria, $70

I like this as a classic Bordeaux-style blend. It’s floral and aromatic, and something I’d drink with my family members who prefer heavier reds.

63. NV Laherte Freres Les Sept Cepages Champagne, France, $170

This is one of my favourite wines of all time. It’s pretty special, so I’d probably open it on Christmas Day. It includes all seven of the varietals you’re allowed to grow in Champagne, and it’s solera aged, so it’s slightly oxidative. A surprising style.

64. Partida Creus CV Catalonia

Petillant Naturel, Spain, $70

Bright and fresh upfront, but with a lovely savoury finish. It’s such good drinking for a warm day when the sun is shining and you feel like sitting outside.

65. Jean Foillard Morgon Corcelette Beaujolais Gamay, France, $80

This wine has a cult following and is one I particularly love, so every year I try to get my hands on as much of it as I can.

It's one for the special occasions.

66. NV Andre Clouet Rosé Champagne, France, $90

A grower-producer from Bouzy, Andre Clouet makes a few different styles of Champagne, but the rosé is my favourite.

It’s toasty and creamy, but you get that nice strawberry element peeking through too.

67. 2018 Two Tonne Ziggurat Nouveau

Pinot Noir, Tasmania, $32

An excellent summer-drinking pinot, it’s so fresh and bright, and you can serve it a little bit chilled.

68. 2017 Peter Lauer Fass 16

Trocken Riesling, Mosel, Germany, $44 While this is a sweet riesling, it’s still got a bit of acid and is well balanced. It’s one of those wines I think you could give to anyone and they’d be pretty happy to drink it. It’s a real crowd-pleaser.

69. 2018 Dr Edge Dr Ongo Pet Nat, Tasmania, $35

This pinot noir-based pet-nat is so fun and easy to drink. You don’t need to think about it too much – it’s the kind of wine I’d drink while cooking.

70. 2017 Canti Prosecco DOC, Italy, $17

Our tradition is drinking Aperol spritzes after lunch as a palate cleanser, so a bottle of prosecco is handy to have around.
