Jacquesson Cuvee 735 Late Disgorged

-

FRANCE When only Champagne will do, splashing out on a gift that is extra delicious and has a backstory

(this house is actually more interested in lowering its volume to retain quality) is always a winner. This is part of Jacquesson’s 700 single-vineyard series and has 47% chardonnay, 33% pinot noir and 20% pinot meunier, and it’s based on the 2007 vintage. With gentle, warming, gingery spice, the lusciousness of pears and gentle texture with fine bubbles, this is one classy bottle of Champagne.

12% alc. $185, drink by 2023
