Tasmania’s Bay of Fires has released five new wines, including the stellar 2017 Bay of Fires Pinot Noir ($49.99) that won the Pinot Noir Trophy at the recent Royal Melbourne Wine Show, as well as the 2017 Chardonnay ($50.99) and 2018 Riesling ($38.99).

Penny’s Hill in McLaren Vale has rolled out its 2017 The Experiment Grenache ($40), with great fruit purity and elegance, and good length. It joins two new single vineyard white wines, which showcase excellent Adelaide Hills fruit: the 2017 Minimalist Chardonnay ($35); and the 2018 The Agreement Sauvignon Blanc ($22) – ideal for anyone who says they're not into the variety.

Three new wines are now available in Bremerton’s Special Release range. The 2017 Special Release Vermentino, 2018 Special Release Fiano and 2016 Special Release Malbec ($24 each) are approachab­le examples of these different wine styles from this top Langhorne Creek producer.

Taylors Wines has released six

2017 wines in its Estate range, each priced at $20. The Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon all feature sensors on the back label to show optimum drinking temperatur­es.
