2018 Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley Semillon

2018 was a very difficult vintage for semillon in the Hunter given the extreme heat. Here the solution was to allow the alcohol to rise above normal levels, and it worked as well as could be expected. Citrus has reached near-tropical flavour, which is unusual, but for short-term drinking it works well. 12% alc.
