2016 Hardys Tintara McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon

This is cabernet sauvignon with a twist of 6% merlot, 5% cabernet franc and 3% shiraz. As well as all the fruit echoes of its blend components, you need to throw in the dark chocolate and liquorice of McLaren Vale, plus a far from obsequious contribution of oak. It’s clear from the leisurely rate of its development to this point of time that there’s no need to hurry with its consumption.
