2016 Hay Shed Hill Morrison’s Gift

A full-on blend of 40% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, 20% malbec, 10% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot. The Morrison family developed and extended the vineyard before selling it to the present owners in ’06. The blend of plum, blackcurrant and mulberry fits neatly into a supple leather glove of French oak and supple tannins. Excellent value.
