2018 Ivanhoe Semillon
Winemaker: Gary Reed Vigneron: Stephen Drayton This wine starts with a fresh and lively nose, with lifted notes of citrus followed with lemon and lime tantalising the palate with a crisp, acidic finish. A light and refreshing, estate-grown semillon.
What do you look for in your semillon? Typical Hunter semillon characteristics of lemon and lime, balanced with an acidic finish. Vibrant and refreshing when young, it has delicious, toasted honey flavours when aged. Grown on free-draining alluvial soils in Pokolbin, our 2018 vintage is a true expression of Hunter Valley semillon.
