Smoke taint affected fruit from the Canberra District in 2020, so Chris Carpenter had to look to Hilltops for a variety to make his pet nat. Cloudy with an attractive pale rosegold hue and no shortage of bubbles. This is a refreshing, lively drink with super-bright acidity to the fore, plus spicy red fruits, peach fuzz, some pepper and feijoa. Super-dry with good tannin grip on the finish. More please.
