2021 Spring Vale Vineyards Rosé, Tasmania

Shiraz is an unusual inclusion in Tasmanian rosé, but it works here, not only in infusing a medium salmon-crimson hue but in adding a nuance of pepper and spice to a core of pinot and meunier. Red apples and tangy wild strawberries are well structured by bright East Coast acidity and nicely handled, superfine tannins. Dynamic from the outset, with potential to age. TS 12.5% alc.
