2021 Chalmers Pecorino, Heathcote

Pecorino offers a glimpse into the future, where climate change will encourage the planting of more Mediterranean grape varieties in Australia. It shows its class here with with the lifted scent of honeysuckle, citrus and baked apple. Rich and textural, it fills the mouth with delicious flavour that goes and goes, replete in peach, nectarine and dried herbs wrapped in a light blanket of honey.
