Old-vine Swan Valley grenache for rosé ... feels decadent or excessive, not sure which. Regardless; raspberries, bramble, spice, red licorice and briny acidity course through the wine, tumbling over themselves for dominance in the mouth. Rose petals, crushed pistachios, red apples and more. The varietal characters of the grenache really shine here, the heat of the Swan has imbued it with concentration and life.
