96 A three-part blend of sangiovese with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, all fruit coming from a vineyard nearly 400m above sea level. After fermentati­on in oak, and ageing for nearly 18 months in French and Hungarian oak (new and seasoned), this has a profound character, with a lift of spice and sweet tobacco only tempered by the generous layers of dark fruit.
