What do you love most about your region?

The comradery of the region and the amazing sites we have access to across the Hunter Valley. These sites go on to create wines of unique expressions representing a place and time. The oldest wine growing region in Australia, the history in these sites is something to be immersed in.

Describe your wines and how they reflect the region?

Mount Pleasant has always produced wines of elegance and grace, truly medium-bodied wines encapsulating all that is great about Hunter Valley shiraz. Today we honour that style in our winemaking, taking a less-is-more approach, minimising the winemakers stamp and ensuring fruit is to the fore and representative of its place.
