2021 Coates Wines The Riesling, Adelaide Hills

Among the finest rieslings in the land, by virtue of the intelligence behind its craftsmanship, as much as the deliciousness of the results: kaffir lime, talc and blossom. Few surprises there. Yet the fleck of oak and further latticework derived from natural yeast, lees and grape skins, spiels an intriguing narrative more Germanic of feel and texturally compelling than the domestic norm.
