2020 Gembrook Hill Sauvignon Blanc, Yarra Valley
Made from vines planted on an east-facing slope in the Upper Yarra in 1983. Fermented in 70/30% large-format oak/stainless steel. A pale, bright green gold. Consistently good, this restrained sauvignon blanc has aromas of green apple, lemongrass and just a hint of fresh peas. Gently textured, fresh, clean and crisp with a long lemon-curd finish. A serious wine in an oversaturated sauvignon blanc market. PR 12% alc.
