2020 Langmeil Winery Black Beauty Malbec, Barossa Valley

Malbec seems quite at home in the Barossa, where it lays down a wonderfully fragrant, bouncy beat compared to the bass-heavy rumblings of some of the more classic Barossan varieties. At the lighter end of medium bodied, it’s all about crunchy, violetflecked red cherry fruits with a sapid acid line, abundant exotic spice and a mesmerising cadence. Fresh, savoury drinking.
