NEW RELEASES
House of Arras’ latest release includes its 2007 E.J. Carr
Late Disgorged Vintage Sparkling (RRP$265.99) – the
10th consecutive vintage of this iconic wine – plus its 2014 Arras Vintage Rosé (RRP$129.99), Blanc de
Blancs (RRP$129.99), and Grand Vintage (RRP$118.99); and its 2017 Brut Elite Cuvée (RRP $64.99). Grant Burge’s global vintage release for 2022 includes the following wines from its Icon Collection: the Meshach Shiraz 2018 ($229.99), the Shadrach Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 ($114.99), the Nebu Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 ($99.99); and the following wines from its Wines of Distinction collection: the Holy Trinity Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre 2020 ($47.99), and the Filsell Shiraz 2020 ($47.99). The first release from
St Leonards Vineyard’s new small-batch range ‘Pilot Project’, Marsie is a dry skincontact blend, its faint pink colour stemming from 25 per cent muscat and 75 per cent marsanne. With vibrant aromatics (apricot, white peach, rose petal) and an enticingly dry and textural palate, the wine will pair well with Asian and Indian spices. Brown Brothers has reintroduced tarrango to the Australian market. This light-bodied, juicy, refreshing red is best served chilled, making it perfect for summer drinking. Duxton Vineyard has launched two new wines under its sustainable label, Rewild: the Rewild 2022 Prosecco and Rewild 2022 Fiano. The wines are made with minimal intervention and are 100 per cent vegan-friendly. .................................................................................................................... Following the success of their Snoop Cali Red last year, American rapper Snoop Dogg and Australian wine label
19 Crimes have released a second wine – the 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Rosé. A blend of grenache and zinfandel, the wine retails for $18 and is available in stores now. Vranken-Pommery Australia has introduced two new rosés in time for summer: The Domaine Royal de Jarras Gris de Gris Tête de Cuvée BIO 2020 Rosé ($36), and the Pink Flamingo Gris Tête de Cuvée BIO 2021 Rosé ($29). Both are made using first-pressed juice from grenache gris grapes.
