Maybe it’s some sort of sixth-sense sister thing, but subconsciously we seem to find ourselves always dressing in a similar way. We dress in a pretty gender-neutral, minimal way that we hope looks chic and effortless. We love Japanese and menswear design. We love Margaret Howell for her design and her ethos.we got to go to her show last season, and everything — men’s and women’s — was perfect. We fantasise about wearing everything by Acne, Céline or The Row [10], but the reality is most of our day-to-day wardrobes are from Uniqlo and Muji.we both have gold signet rings by LA designer J.hannah, each with our initials, and neither of us has taken them off since we got them.we are both also very fond of the Swedish jewellery brand All Blues for our gold hoop earrings.we saw some beautiful knotted hoop earrings in Céline the other day.the only time we change up our jewellery is when we feel like wearing different gold hoops or a different chain necklace [3]. Neither of us owns a classic Chanel bag [7], which we have always thought about purchasing and still haven’t.we tend to be canvas sneaker type girls. Céline do some really nice ones [9].We have recently been lucky enough to go to a few Hermès events, and after seeing what they create in terms of fashion and homewares, we want anything and everything they design! Our go-to outfits would have to be navy blue tailored trousers with a simple white T-shirt [2] tucked in, a black leather belt [11] and either loafers [5] or canvas trainers.we are big fans of Burberry trench coats [13] for when it’s raining, as it often is in London, or a casual, slightly oversized blazer [4].When it comes to flattering pants, we love a cigarette or suit-style trouser [6] in either a navy, black or faint plaid, or simple, loose-fitting denim.we don’t tend to wear many prints on clothes, but Hermès do the most beautiful printed scarfs that we love to tie our hair up with [1].We try to keep our skin as clear and our makeup (if we wear any) as natural as possible. Our alltime favourite beauty product has to be Chanel’s Candeur et Experience Les 4 Ombres palette [12].We use it on eyes, cheeks and lips every day. We like to change our fragrances depending on mood and occasion. But a favourite is the unisex scent Tuxedo by Yves Saint Laurent [8]. It’s so deep and smoky. 9
