NAIDOC AT ST JOSEPHS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Harvey-Waroona Reporter - - SEA TO SCARP -

On the last day of school, St Joseph’s Primary School held an activity day in recognition of NAIDOC Week. The Shire was able to support this by providing resources for arts and crafts activities, as well as enlisting local Aboriginal dance group Bindjareb Middars to perform. A big thank you to all involved and especially to the local Aboriginal community who continue to be so open with sharing their rich culture. There will be events held in recognition of NAIDOC Week at Waroona District High School next term, and in the community at the Waroona Memorial Hall on the school holidays – see the flyer in this edition of the Sea to Scarp.
