Bye Bye Love one to watch
Punters are tipped to flock to the Bunbury Turf Club this afternoon, with the hallmark Melbourne Cup day meeting again eagerly anticipated.
Across the eight-race program, trainers and runners will have several opportunities to secure victory on the big stage.
One of those trainers, Justin Warwick, will be hoping his four year old Bye Bye Love can return to form in the 3YO and up Class 5 (2038m).
Standing in the mare’s way is Rhys Radford’s four year old Twentythree Red, who has drawn barrier nine and is excellent touch.
Radford’s gelding has won two of his last three and will pose plenty of questions to the field if he gets into the groove early.
Racing starts at 12.34pm, with the last race at 5pm.
