All of Harvey Shire’s public libraries have free wi-fi access. There is no need for tickets or other log-in procedures. Simply agree to the conditions and start using it. Staff are available to help anyone who is unsure or who gets stuck.
More than 40 seniors enjoyed a range of activities at Harvey Library for Seniors Week. Sponsored by COTA, Harvey’s active and interested residents learnt how to use essential oils, practised scrap-booking skills, enjoyed a historical photo display, heard Aboriginal stories, played board games, were entertained by beautiful singing, and made new friends. A newly formed ukulele group provided background music, and all participants received a show bag including a calendar, voucher for a facial, jelly beans, pen and more.
